Vicentina
The Vicentina coast is located on the western side of the Algarve in Portugal.
A particularly beautiful area is the region around Carrapateira and Bordeira, which also includes Playa do Amado.
You can reach the beaches via small, more or less paved dirt roads.
Another path leads via Playa do Armado directly along the coast, but is a bit more arduous, as it turns into a corrugated iron track with sharp stones and deep potholes. At slow speed, however, the route is easy to manage, especially since it is only a few kilometers long.
The exertion is rewarded with overwhelming views of the primeval coastal sections.
A must have for nature lovers.
