Mazarrón Mines

We travel to the Mazarrón region in Spain.

In earlier times, Mazarrón also stood for the wealth of mineral resources. You can still see this today in the surrounding mountains.

Lead, zinc, silver, iron, alum and ochre were mined here.

The floor formations are magnificent to look at in their colorful play of colors.
