Almadraba de Monteleva
A small fishing village on Cabo de Gata with “no tourism”.
We are delighted. It’s autumn.
The temperatures are around 24 degrees. For once, there is no stormy wind blowing at Cabo de Gata. The sea is unspectacular, which means it’s bathing weather.
The kilometre-long beach is empty.
Salt is mined in the salt pans next door. The terrain is used as a food source by flamingos shimmering in the evening sun.
